About the Artist
Andria Alex, expressionist painter, works in all mediums and loves to experiment with textures. Being conservation-minded she often uses recycled materials in her art. She is a professional Scenic Artist painting sets for Connecticut theaters as a freelancer, and has been the Charge Scenic Artist at TheaterWorks Hartford since 2006. Andria graduated with a BFA from Central Connecticut State University, and studied at the Art Students League of New York while living in Manhatten. Andria does commissioned work and her art can be found in many personal collections.
