Scenic Charge Portfolio 2008

"Seafarer" 11/08, Theaterworks Hartford. Designer, Adrian Jones.
This show is set in a neglected basement apartment in Dublin. Most everything was aged and distressed. The set included paint, stain, wallpaper, patches, texture, scumbles, and glazes.

"No Child", Theaterworks 8/08 Set design by Brian Prather. This set is the interior of a neglected school in the Bronx. The ageing process included distressing, graffiti, water stains, crackling and paint peeling. Below is a close up of peels and crackles.

"Rabbit Hole" Theaterworks, Hartford 6/08. Designer, Luke Cantarella. Most of this set was built in Pittsburgh and travelled to Theaterworks. We added on and coated everything with new paint.. the scenics challenge of this job was colormatching the new flooring areas to the old and piecing everything together with caulk and paint.

"Paper Lanterns, Paper Cranes" Hartford Childrens Theatre 5/08. Set Design by Sparks. Work on this set included a faux marble tile floor, river bed (with flowing water), and carved foam boulders.

	"Blackbird" Theaterworks, Hartford 4/08. Designer, Luke Cantarella. Set includes faux concrete (strong enough for a chair to be thrown at it every night), and lots of smooth high gloss black flats and stage apron.
	"Little Dog Laughed" Theaterworks, 1/08 Designer, Adrian Jones. Set included dualtone staining and high gloss oil finish of the deck. Wallpaper,paint and staining and sealing of bed and furniture.
	"The Bluest Eye" Hartford Stage Company,2/08. This is the floor deck which we painted then glazed with dark wash.
	"Doubt" Theaterworks, 11/07. Designer, Adrian Jones. Set included faux concrete sidewalk, stucco walls, brick walls, plaster walls, distressing, glazing and ageing.
	"The Boxcar Children" 11/07. The Hartford Childrens Theater. Designer, Sparks. Set included glazing, staining and ageing wood. Splatter floor deck and sealers.
